Sr. Cloud Data & Analytics Architect
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the design and implementation of our APAC Cloud- based Data & Analytics platform to be built in Microsoft Azure and in close collaboration with the global team based on global templates that need to be adjusted.
- Create & implement APAC data management processes according to the F.A.I.R. data principles and our global standards
- Lead APAC data & analytics project from technical point of view, be responsible for data architecture, design development and operation processes (dev/ops), steer data engineers and ensure proper quality and documentation.
- Design and lead the implementation of integrated global (multi- country) as well as single country analytics solutions in line with legal requirements (e.g., TPAs, data privacy) in order to deliver fit- for purpose and scalable analytics products
- Manage the integration of different data types (e.g., market sell out data, POS data, shopper behavior data, retailer sales data, strategic market data, trend data etc.) and sources (IRI, IQVIA, Nielson etc. - global sources and country sources) into unified & reusable global data asset
- As a technical lead, closely work with other data architects, analytics leads, and other analytics teams as well as business functions from the area of market insights, sales or eCommerce to provide fit-for- purpose global market analytics products
- Be responsible for managing external service providers/partners, prepare cost and time estimates and ensure the proper handover to the operations
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years' working experience in the field of data architecture &analytics and 3+years of experience in the field of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services (IaaS and PaaS) and infrastructure as code mainly for Analytics, e.g. Synapse service suite, Databricks, ADF, Analysis Service as well as experience with common enterprise challenges coming with cloud (e.g. network topology and connectivity topics, DNS, proxy, as well as security topics).
- Profound data architecture & technology knowledge of above- mentioned technologies, deep understanding of different databases & big data technologies, very good knowhow in SQL, Python as well as basic knowhow in Tableau and/or PowerBi
- Knowhow on data management processes, data ops and & ML ops processes
- High analytical drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment as well as problem solving - & analysis skills, combined with profound business judgement.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, active listening, consulting, challenging, presentation skills
- Fluent in English, both written & spoken, intercultural awareness and willingness to travel
